About Badrinath
Dedicated to Lord Vishnu as Badri Narayan, the temple sits at 3,133 m between the Nar and Narayan peaks along the Alaknanda. Bathe in the hot springs of Tapt Kund before darshan.

How to reach & route tips
By road: Rishikesh → Devprayag → Srinagar → Rudraprayag → Karnaprayag → Chamoli → Joshimath → Badrinath (approx. 300 km, 10–12 hrs).
The road is motorable right up to the temple. Gate timings from Joshimath are regulated — start early.
